Our child needs help. Now what?
You have consulted with our office and are ready to begin therapy. What can you expect?

1-on-1 Sessions
Our office uses a structured literacy approach that is comprised of Orton Gillingham as well as explicit instruction in morphology and orthography. We also make sure to target writing skills beyond spelling so that your child can learn to develop their ideas into written form.
Sessions can be provided in-person at your child’s school or our office. We also offer teletherapy sessions for families who do not live locally.

Our Promise
We follow the Science of Reading. Period. No exceptions. You should have complete confidence that what we are asking your child to learn is rooted in research and best practice.

Our Philosphy
Children that have dyslexia are often crippled with feelings of anxiety and shame. As mothers ourselves, we are extra sensitive to the emotional well-being of children. We do not believe in quizzing, putting your child on the spot, or asking them to guess. Your child should experience success after each and every session. Building confidence, reducing feelings of shame, and helping your child learn how bright they really are is why we do what we do.
“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.“
